I'm going to assume you mean for registering in 2021, as it's unlikely you'll get an appointment now to sort out the VRT before that. New VRT bands come in January and those are the ones I'll work with here. First up we need to estimate the Open Market Selling Price (OMSP) for the car, which I'd suggest should be in the region of €45,000 depending on options fitted. Bear in mind that Revenue might come up with a completly different number and this is just our best guess. 

As far as we can see, the CO2 rating should be 166g/km. However, Revenue will 'uplift' that to a WLTP-equivalent, which comes out as 202g/km, placing the car in the highest VRT band, at 37 per cent. Using our numbers, that means a VRT bill of €16,650.
