With a car of that age, the condition and dependability varies considerably, so we'd recommend you get it checked over by someone that knows what they're looking at. For your information, that Qashqai has loads of known issues, some of them expensive to fix, but the same could be said of many cars that are now well over 10 years old. Go over it with a fine toothcomb if you're hoping to rely on it for work and add considerable mileage.

Speaking of which, while low mileage is appealing, bear in mind that means there could be expensive maintenence around the corner, such as a clogged diesel particulate filter. Make sure the light for that is working and it goes off once the car is running.
